Jamie Bercaw, LMSW, MS

Jamie comes to Mindful Philanthropy with over ten years of professional experience working in the nonprofit and public sectors. Jamie is a licensed social worker who is passionate about social impact, especially at the systemic level. Through a variety of roles in urban and rural settings across several recognized youth development organizations and in the public school system as a practicing social worker, Jamie has developed a deep understanding of the complexities of youth wellbeing. Jamie has also gained extensive experience working directly with vulnerable populations including adolescent boys in foster care, women experiencing homelessness and exploitation, and young people who experienced abuse. Jamie weaves her academic expertise with field experience to amplify social impact initiatives in mental health.
Jamie earned a Master of Science degree in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Social Work degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development from Binghamton University.
