Miriam Pearsall, MPH

Associate Director, Collaboration & Policy

Miriam Pearsall brings over a decade of experience in health policy and philanthropy, with a focus on translating policy complexity into action for the people who fund and shape mental health solutions. Most recently, she served as Chief of Staff for Policy at the Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute, where she led project management for a $1.1 million national initiative on mental health integration in primary care and designed congressional briefings and executive convenings that brought leaders across sectors together. Earlier, she was a Behavioral Health Policy Associate at the National Academy for State Health Policy and an Executive Fellow at Well Being Trust, where she facilitated strategy meetings for the CEO Alliance for Mental Health, a group of fifteen national organizations. She also consulted for state health agencies at Public Consulting Group and began her career in the Arkansas Governor’s Office.

Miriam joined Mindful Philanthropy in October 2026 as Associate Director, Collaboration & Policy. In this role, she helps drive the work plan and knowledge products of the Collaborative Action Network, which brings together funders, policymakers, and community leaders in regional and issue-focused collaboratives to advance mental health solutions. She also brings a policy lens across Mindful’s work, translating what is changing in policy into guidance funders can use.

Miriam holds a Master of Public Health from Emory University and a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature from Princeton University.
