Yoelle Gulko
Documentary Filmmaker | Director, Our Subscription to Addiction
Yoelle Gulko is a New York City–based documentary filmmaker and entrepreneur directing Our Subscription to Addiction, an intimate look at technology addiction and the innovative, youth-led solutions addressing it—from social media detoxes to national advocacy efforts.
Supported by grants and mentorship from Netflix’s The Social Dilemma and The Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund, whose funders include Archewell Philanthropies, Pivotal, and the Omidyar Network, Yoelle’s work has taken her to Capitol Hill and the White House. Sitting up front at the Big Tech Congressional hearing in January 2024 featured in The Washington Post, Yoelle had a stare-down with Mark Zuckerberg. She has spoken at SXSW, the UN Science Summit, and NYC Tech Week, with a mission to screen her film in 10,000 schools to spotlight the creativity and power of young people shaping digital wellbeing.
