Abigail Michelson Porth is Executive Director of the LSP Family Foundation, where she partners with the Founder and Board to shape strategy and deploy philanthropic capital across mental, women’s, and children’s mental health, civic life, the arts, and Jewish community. She builds the systems, governance, and grantmaking infrastructure that translate the Foundation’s values into disciplined execution and measurable results. Working closely with investment and accounting partners, Abby stewards resources in alignment with a long-term spend-down strategy.
Abby leads portfolio development and due diligence, cultivates cross-sector partnerships, and fosters collaboration among grantees and fellow funders to extend impact. She elevates the Foundation’s voice through strategic communications, curated convenings, and relationships with leading institutions.
Previously, Abby represented the Jewish community in government relations and public affairs during periods of heightened complexity and change. She served as a Mayoral appointee to the San Francisco Human Rights Commission, and co-founded the nation’s first sacred Jewish memorial space for neonatal and fertility loss.
