Frank Tow

The Tow Foundation

Frank Tow serves as chair of The Tow Foundation’s Board of Directors. He joined the board shortly after the Foundation’s inception in 1990 and has played a vital role in shaping its strategic direction and long-term impact, including serving as vice president from 2002 to 2025. Frank also serves as the chair of the Foundation’s Innovation Fund Committee, a board-led grantmaking initiative focused on expanding access to the care and support for mental health and well-being that youth need to thrive.

Frank is an avid learner currently enrolled at Temple University, where he takes several classes each semester to deepen his knowledge of the issues relevant to the Foundation. For more than a decade, Frank taught mathematics at Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy, an independent school in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, where he brought his sharp intellect, passion, and a deep commitment to education into the classroom to cultivate the minds of future generations. Before his work in education, he served as President of Century Advertising, the in-house agency for Century Communications.
