Kevin Connors

Managing Director, Susan Crown Exchange

Kevin Connors is the Managing Director at Susan Crown Exchange, a foundation that leverages grantmaking and strategic partnerships to catalyze systemic change. He has seeded several national initiatives, including the Million Coaches Challenge, Harvard University’s Center for Digital Thriving, the Responsible Tech Youth Power Fund, and Young Futures, an accelerator for nonprofits that support adolescent wellbeing. Kevin has funded or strategically partnered with more than 50 organizations, including Pivotal Ventures, Nike, U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Aspen Institute, Stanford University Design School, and the Office of the U.S. Surgeon General. 

Previously, Kevin served as the Founding Director of Personalized Learning at Chicago Public Schools, where he led a $25M initiative and partnered with 120 schools to lead the nation’s first large scale implementation of the innovative school model. Kevin is also a Teach for America alum, former Head Varsity Baseball Coach, and former staff reporter for Education Week. He began his career in the private sector as a management consultant. Kevin is a regular speaker at national conferences, and his work has been featured by CNN, The Today Show, Vanity Fair, South by Southwest (SXSW) Festival, Aspen Institute’s Project Play Summit, and several other national outlets. Kevin holds a B.S. in Business from Indiana University and a Master’s degree from Harvard University.
