
Representative Steve Eliason
House Representative, State of Utah
Representative Steve Eliason has served in the Utah House of Representatives since 2011. He represents House District 43. Steve resides in Sandy City with his wife and is the father of six children.
He serves as the Chair of the House Revenue and Taxation Committee and as the House Parliamentarian. He also serves on the House Health & Human Services Committee and Co-Chaired the Governor’s Youth Suicide Prevention Taskforce with the current Governor of Utah, Spencer Cox.
Rep. Eliason has passed over 100 bills during his tenure in the Legislature on topics ranging from public safety, education, public health, and tax reform and has sponsored and passed dozens of bills relating to suicide prevention and improving the lives of people with a mental illness.
